If a more serious or critical condition warrants a medical evacuation per the terms of the plan, a medical evacuation will take place.  A medical evacuation transport is from hospital to hospital and requires a full medical assessment, must be recommended and certified by a physician, and must be approved in advance by the assistance company medical personnel.
