FAQ  How to Choose the Right Travel Insurance for Your Trip

I understand you will reimburse my nonrefundable trip cancellation costs. But how does the medical expense claims process work?

Medical expense coverage for travel insurance is generally secondary or excess to one’s primary health insurance. When filing a claim for reimbursement, your health insurance information is required, and benefits are coordinated with your primary plan. Eligible expenses typically include physician services, hospital confinement, use of operating rooms, laboratory tests, X-Rays, examinations or treatments, prescribed drugs, and emergency dental expenses.  Please review your plan certificate for more details on eligible expenses covered and plan limits or visit our Claims Page for more details and the appropriate form(s) to submit for reimbursement under your plan.
